Nature Conservation

Faculty of Environmental Sciences

The programme is open for students with a background in ecology, biology, zoology, botany, conservation biology, landscape ecology, or environmental sciences. The programme provides a solid understanding of both applied and theory-based resource conservation and management based on principles of applied landscape ecology. Sciences, environmental chemistry, and remediation of environmental contamination with an understanding of the behaviour of pollutants in the global environment.

Graduate profile

In addition to applied biological disciplines, the courses emphasize legislation, the economy, and the use of GIS tools. Due to the field’s wide scope, graduates will have excellent success at many institutions that deal with the conservation of nature and landscapes. They will be able to find and process information from various industries and transform multidisciplinary knowledge into practice in modern nature conservation.

Admissions procedure:

In the first round, the applicants will pass an online admission test.

Selected applicants are invited to enter the second round – online interviews.
