Faculty of Environmental Sciences

The Master’s programme in Environmental Data Science (MEDS) focuses on the analysis and interpretation of Earth processes and environmental phenomena in their spatial and temporal context. It integrates environmental sciences with data science, spatial analysis, and remote sensing, including advanced processing of environmental data using modern statistical methods, artificial intelligence, and cloud-based environments. The programme provides both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through work with real environmental and research data.

Graduate profile

Graduates are prepared for professional roles in environmental monitoring, assessment, and management within public institutions, research organizations, consulting companies, and international bodies. The programme is offered as a full-time, two-year Master’s degree taught in English and awards the title Ing (Engineer), internationally recognized as equivalent to an MSc degree. An optional international mobility component is available in cooperation with Technical University of Dresden, while the degree is completed at Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.

Admissions procedure:

In the first round, the applicants will pass an online admission test.

Selected applicants are invited to enter the second round – online interviews.
